Taichi is a registered architect with over 20 years of experience in both the United States and Canada. His design expertise, attention to detail, and analytical and conceptual skills have led him to be involved in many complex mixed-use projects. These projects have included recreational, residential, commercial, office, hospitality, and retail designs.
One of Taichi’s greatest strengths is synthesizing creative project solutions and responding to difficult technical problems, regulatory requirements, client aspirations, and community concerns. His approach to architecture is starting with idealistic ideas and thoughts—imagining what can be first and then grounding it with realities after. This is the mindset Taichi adopts for the many projects he leads, including his ongoing work with YMCA facilities across British Columbia.
When he isn’t busy designing community-focused spaces, Taichi enjoys finding creative ways to renovate his condo, and he’s an avid Blue Jays fan.
