An environmental planner and fisheries biologist, Lacey collaborates with design teams to integrate natural solutions into infrastructure design and construction on watercourses, lakes, and wetlands. She leverages her technical experience with fish and fish habitat for projects to develop mitigation strategies that balance client objectives with ecological restoration priorities.
In addition to working on several major transportation and pipeline projects, Lacey has also worked on high-profile flood restoration and mitigation projects across western Canada. She has served as an expert witness in fish and fish habitat for project hearings and a regulatory advisor to infrastructure clients. Her construction supervision experience has also proven valuable in the planning phases of projects to streamline regulatory reviews and develop plans that can be well executed in the field.
Lacey enjoys being outside whenever she gets a chance and can be found mountain biking, hiking, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her family.
