As director, diversity and compliance, Carla is committed to nurturing diversity and inclusion within the transportation industry. Her team provides resources to internal project teams and their consultants to make certain they not only comply with the required participation goals, but also thrive in the industry long term.
In her position, Carla is responsible for maximizing participation from proposal development through project award and scope development. She gathers and analyzes statistical data progress towards our projects’ participation goals, monitors and manages subcontractors progress and utilization, and the mentor protégé program.
Outside of work, you’ll find Carla hanging out with her husband and the dogs, Graci and Charlie—sometimes they also let their grown children join. Together, they love hooking up their trailer to the truck, hopping in and going somewhere new every weekend.
