After spending time as a derrickman in the West Texas oilfields, serving his country in the United States Air Force, and working on a shrimp boat, Bob found his way to what’s held his attention for more than three decades—a career in engineering.
Bob has been involved in planning, design, construction, and program management for municipal water clients on projects up to $250M and programs approaching $0.75B. One of his most notable experiences was working as team lead on the design and construction of a Metro Wastewater Reclamation District Headworks progressive design-build project. Here, we replaced all screenings, the washer and compactor, grit classification systems, and ancillary process equipment. Through thoughtful leadership and a great team effort, the process area was gutted and rebuilt while staying online and operational.
Continuing to honor servicemen and women, Bob supports the Wounded Warrior Foundation and the Green Beret Foundation. He also spends time with and supports local teams and members of the Special Operations community, with which his two oldest sons are affiliated.
