A PhD qualified ecosystems modelling specialist, chartered engineer, and chartered scientist, Amelia has more than 20 years of experience in maritime hydraulics and numerical modelling. Her expertise spans a range of modelling techniques, including the development and application of numerical models for solving problems to address environmental issues.
As an expert in coastal modelling, Amelia provides technical leadership in projects involving hydrodynamics and water quality assessments. She’s recently been focused on projects in the water industry, including wastewater discharge impact assessments, unit-impact modelling and source apportionments, auditing numerical models, and development of standards and quality control procedures for numerous modelling studies. Previously, Amelia has led and delivered coastal projects, including studies for building new nuclear power stations, and delivered coastal processes advice to the Marine Management Organization and Natural Resources Wales.
Outside of work Amelia enjoys traveling with her family, swimming, and playing tennis.
