Drawing on her deep knowledge of building science and design solutions, Ghina plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainable practices. Based out of Ottawa, she serves as our decarbonization business lead with more than a decade of experience in high-performance building design. Focusing on achieving a net positive regenerative approach, Ghina helps advance best practices for the built environment, adopting systems like water, energy carbon nexus, Five Capital model of Sustainability, and Inclusive Integrated Innovation Frameworks to shape future cities and communities.
In acknowledgement of Ghina’s commitment to advancing environmental efforts, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) appointed her as one of ten members to the Center of Excellence for Building Decarbonization. Recently, she received the Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade’s Forty Under 40 award for 2025.
Taking her passion for sustainability and nature into her spare moments, Ghina finds joy in connecting with nature by hiking and indulging her love for horseback riding.
