Ghina’s deep knowledge of building science and design solutions enables her to play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable practices. In acknowledgement of her commitment to advancing environmental efforts, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recently appointed her as one of ten members to the Center of Excellence for Building Decarbonization.
Based out of Ottawa, Ghina serves as our decarbonization business lead and senior sustainability specialist with over a decade of experience in high-performance building design. She focuses on achieving a net positive regenerative approach, supporting both human and planetary health and fostering a better world for all.
Having assumed several pivotal leadership positions, Ghina plays a vital role in assessing and advancing energy efficiency measures and technologies within the industry, actively contributing to the discussions and research. She believes that every action carries responsibility and impact.
An embodiment of her passion for sustainability and admiration for the world around us, Ghina finds joy in connecting with nature by hiking and indulging her love for horseback riding.
