Susan is a senior structural engineer with 22 years of experience on a variety of structural engineering projects—mostly focusing on water and wastewater treatment facilities. Currently, she serves as the structural team lead for Water in Ontario and the engineering discipline lead for Canada East.
She provided structural design for the Windsor Riverfront High-Rate Retention Treatment Basin, a project that enhances the city’s riverfront amenities and significantly reduces pollution into the Detroit River. She’s also provided the structural design of buildings and tanks associated with water and wastewater treatment at numerous facilities throughout Ontario and beyond.
Susan’s work consists of a range of large and small projects including the design of a cast-in-place culvert bridge over the Cahill Drain in LaSalle and the design of major drop shafts on the City of Ottawa’s combined sewage storage system, which will reduce overflow to the Ottawa River.
Born and raised in Windsor, Susan can often be found spending her free time cheering on her kids in hockey and soccer. She’s passionate about health and wellness, and she always looks forward to reading and spending time with her children.
