Stantec receives specialty designation from software company Esri

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, is pleased to announce the firm has received the Network Management specialty designation from location intelligence and mapping software company Esri. This specialty designation showcases Stantec’s expertise in Esri’s ArcGIS platform and the Utility Network, which is used for asset management in geospatial and geographic information systems (GIS) projects. 

Industry data projects the geospatial analytics market to be worth $107.8 billion by 2026. GIS is critical for utilities as they try to manage their assets, understand the health of their system, and make sense of data. Utilities are often challenged to keep up with changing technology as they manage their programs. As Esri’s ArcGIS Utility Network gains traction in the coming years, all utilities will have to understand the new network and how it helps them manage their GIS data.

With Stantec’s specialty designation, utilities in the water and wastewater sectors can engage Stantec as a trusted partner with the knowledge and expertise necessary to support them as they migrate to the ArcGIS Utility Network.

To receive the specialty designation, the team had to apply, complete training, and demonstrate technical understanding of the ArcGIS Utility Network solution—and how it is used to help Stantec clients become more efficient, nimble, and confident in their decision making.
