Supply Chain Water Sustainability Program

Since 2016, we’ve worked with our client, a top technology company, to help improve the water sustainability across its supply chain—which covers a wide range of industries from integrated circuits (IC) and printed circuit boards (PCB) to displays, batteries, and metal processing and packaging.

This program aims to help suppliers conserve water and prevent water pollution. Our work covers all aspects of water management from compliance to sustainability including water risk assessment, water use tracking, industrial water usage reduction, wastewater collection, treatment and reuse, storm water management, ground water pollution prevention, and capacity building for suppliers. The services we provide include baseline assessment, performance assessment, water sampling, continuous follow-up and technical support, facility training, and program development.

We joined the program three years after it was launched, and since then we have delivered dedication and persistence in providing high quality services that exceed our client’s expectations. With our contribution, this program has helped suppliers save 21 billion gallons of freshwater since it was launched, and it has been implemented at over one hundred supplier facilities. We’re responsible for over 70 facilities across China Mainland, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and south-east Asia.
