A consistent and astutely managed national approach is key to delivering ADF facility requirements across Australia
Maintaining and developing the estate assets of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) is no small job. It demands a high level of technical knowledge and a good understanding of the ADF’s operations, processes, standards and capability requirements. There are layers of stakeholders to engage with and internal regulations and policies to comply with. Stantec’s client, Augility, is one of two proponents appointed to the ADF’s Estate Works Program Panel; they deliver three tranches of work annually, adhering to strict budgets and timescales.
Working predominantly on brownfield projects, our state-based multidisciplinary Defence team has completed works across Australia on Augility’s behalf, ranging from building refurbishments and inground infrastructure updates to large-scale roadworks. Over the years, our consistent and collaborative approach has helped balance the sometimes-conflicting stakeholder and regulatory needs to produce practical and robust results.
Our positive relationship with Augility is key to completing projects on time and on budget for the ADF. This work directly contributes to the ongoing provision of Defence services, ultimately protecting our communities.
