Providing overall support to our transport design managers with day-to-day tasks and coordination, Sunny is a project and systems engineer through and through. In his position, he’s focused on assisting the design team with achieving key milestones and deliverables, helping the project coordinators track budgets, and checking project teams are submitting designs and deliverables in accordance with each project’s systems and contract requirements.
Attention to detail is Sunny’s superpower as he painstakingly checks that all documents, models, and drawings match contractual checkpoints. Along with the technical aspects of his work, like design and modelling, Sunny loves interacting with clients, architects, engineers, and certifiers to collaborate on projects that positively impact communities. A major career highlight for him was when the Regional Transport Access Program in New South Wales upgraded regional train stations to make them more accessible for everyone, not just able-bodied passengers—Sunny was involved in five of these upgrades.
Active in and out of work, on most weekends you’ll find Sunny playing competitive and social sports, including football, basketball, and tennis.
