Helping our client deliver tangible and demonstrable improvements in asset management
Asset management describes how organizations manage their assets, in a way that derives maximum value over their entire life cycle. Our job here? To provide strategic advice to Florida’s Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department, supporting their efforts to achieve best practice in asset management, including ISO 55001 certification, by 2021.
To support this goal, we’ve assessed the organization’s asset management approach and developed a strategic roadmap toward asset management best practice, including organizational arrangements defining asset management roles and responsibilities. We’ve also supported the development of the client’s asset management policy, their objectives, and strategic asset management plan. To measure progress, we undertook interim ISO 55001 assessments.
By defining and overseeing the Department’s progress toward asset management best practice, at a pace that is right for the organization, we’re helping the client deliver tangible and demonstrable improvements in asset management, reducing the risk of regulatory penalties, and improving the client’s reputation in the sector—and with its customers.
