Michael is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM) and has over 15 years of experience in the waste and resource management industry. Working in local government as well as with private and public waste management companies, he has been involved in waste planning policy at both an operational level and in assessing development applications for policy conformity and suitability.
As a waste consultant, he has an excellent understanding of the technical requirements and potential solutions to help ensure that waste strategies fulfil their requirements, and he’s always keen to get involved in ambitious schemes that push boundaries and consider innovative solutions. Much of his current work is around urban regeneration schemes and ensuring that solutions to waste challenges are practical, delivering benefits for both the developer and the community.
When not at work, Michael enjoys most sports—especially cricket, golf, and rugby. He’s also kept busy with his young family, who try to enjoy fresh air and dog walk together as much as possible.
