An experienced transport and development planner, Marc manages the Birmingham Transport Planning team and is the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) West Midlands champion for his office. He’s experienced in residential site promotion and in providing advice on development opportunities and constraints, masterplanning, and environmental impact for schemes covering the range of land use classes and market sectors.
Marc has extensive experience on wind farm and waste facility planning applications. There, he’s provided transport advice on screening, scoping, site selection, discharging conditions, access arrangements and vehicle and environmental impacts. Marc recently project managed the delivery of a new travel plan for Birmingham City University, which will play an essential role in the future development of the university and its accessibility by sustainable modes of travel. The travel plan will continue to support the delivery of planning applications, while helping to improve the university’s environmental performance.
