Simon is a consultant who completed his master’s degree in astrophysics at the University of Liverpool. Since joining Stantec, he’s helped to deliver projects related to the water industry, including the management and analysis of data, and Asset Management consultation.
Most recently, Simon has been a part of the Stantec team working with Thames Water on their Asset Resilience programme. The aim of the programme is to help Thames Water determine the resilience of their assets across London. Simon’s role is to engage with the client to collate and analyse data regarding these assets. After gaining a good understanding of the system, he led workshops with the client to work through Criticality and Vulnerability assessments, testing and challenging his prior research into the systems. Ultimately, he produced a final output that quantifies the resilience of each asset ahead of further modelling and solution optioneering.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys playing golf, watching and playing football, and generally keeping fit. He’s a new homeowner and enjoys spending his spare time doing whatever DIY projects his partner allows.
