Maciej is a project manager, integrated urban designer, and smart city consultant with our Architecture team. He has more than eight years of experience, and he’s worked and practiced in—and spoken publicly about—urban environments in both Canada and Europe, focusing his applied research on smart environments, urban design, and traditional landscape architecture.
Maciej believes that humane architecture can shape a healthy built environment and have a positive impact on communities. He is particularly interested in the design of Science + Technology buildings which foster collaboration and inspire students and researchers to make new discoveries.
Understanding the importance of accuracy and attention to detail, Maciej excels at technical design and delivering high-quality, on-time technical packages to his clients. He was also an early adopter of BIM and has a comprehensive understanding of Revit and ArchiCAD platforms.
Maciej had a key role on Stantec’s award winning Canada House project on Trafalgar Square. More recently, he has worked on the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Queen’s University Belfast and the Centre for Tissue Repair at University for Edinburgh University. Prior to joining Stantec, Maciej worked across sector in Europe and throughout the UK.
