As a graduate risk manager, Aaron knows that risk management is critical to project success. In his role, he helps project teams identify and assess risk factors to understand what needs to be done to avoid a threat and take advantage of any opportunities. His areas of practical experience cover the effectiveness of various resilience and risk mitigation methods, risk communication, and strategies—and the role and assessment of risk in decision-making, process evaluation and review, and planning in both public and private sectors.
Currently, Aaron works within the project management office as the wastewater risk lead for a leading United Kingdom (UK) water company providing a variety of risk services to project teams such as assurance, compliance, and reporting. Previously, he had worked as the risk manager for a major UK water infrastructure diversions programme where he upheld the risk management process across several water and wastewater projects and aided the client in the continuous development of their risk culture maturity.
When he’s away from the office, Aaron enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports—he especially like to play cricket. He also has a keen interest in film, art, and history.
