Leading our Buildings, Civil, and Structural engineering teams in the northwest of England, Victoria has over three decades of experience. Her knowledge spans a wide range of sectors, materials, and forms of both new build and refurbishment projects.
Victoria enjoys working with the design team to resolve technical challenges, understanding that questioning the way we traditionally do things can drive positive change and innovation. She has experience in developing efficient, buildable, cost-effective solutions particularly in constrained city centre sites.
Victoria is a firm believer that the construction industry has a significant role to play in tackling climate change and has championed the integration of low-carbon solutions across the built environment. For her, career highlights include North Manchester General Hospital, Salford University’s Energy House 2.0, The Island (a net zero, BREEAM Excellent and WELL-enabled commercial newbuild development), and the acclaimed adaptive refurbishment of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Institute of Sport, which is an exceptionally ‘green’ building.
With her passion for the environment extending to her personal life, Victoria enjoys being in the outdoors trail running, mountain biking, or hiking.
