Over the course of her career, Vaishnavi has worked on a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for several water company clients in the United Kingdom. Her experience includes developing engineering solutions for improving water quality, providing flood resilience, reducing leakage, and adapting to growth.
As a design engineer, Vaishnavi has looked at strategic water systems considering a range of risks to develop long-term planning solutions to ensure sustainable and resilient water supply services. In the office, she’s a STEM ambassador and community engagement representative, and she runs STEM activities at local schools. Vaishnavi’s goal is to promote and inspire interest in young people to protect and enhance the built and natural environment for the wellbeing of all.
Vaishnavi is the national WaterAid representative and is responsible for leading and coordinating all activities across Stantec UK offices. This includes fundraising and raising awareness to support WaterAid’s work to achieve universal access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for all.
