Northampton is one of the fastest growing economies in the UK, situated in the heart of the Oxford to Cambridge corridor, and England’s Economic Heartland.
Stantec has had a presence in Northampton since the 1990’s and our team has grown to include 40 planners and engineers over that time. Our office, close to Junction 15 of the M1, has been based in the village of Blisworth since 2003. In an idyllic setting close to the Grand Union Canal, it’s a great place to work.
Our team has worked on major developments around Northampton, including most of the allocated Sustainable Urban Extensions, the Segro Northampton Strategic Rail Freight Interchange, and the University of Northampton Waterside Campus. We also work on projects that are further afield including Silverstone Motor racing circuit, Alconbury Weald mixed use new community, Aylesbury Woodlands Sustainable Urban Extension, Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), and Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre to name but a few.
We service a wide range of residential, mixed-use, retail, strategic land, and commercial projects of various types and scales, including regeneration and placemaking opportunities.
