Partnership will provide carbon offsetting opportunities for businesses and communities

Stantec has partnered with Wanderlands to invest in nature through new habitat creation and preservation. The partnership will see Stantec and Wanderlands develop carbon neutral strategies and sustainable direct carbon removal offset solutions to support clients with their climate and social impact targets through nature-based solutions.
The partnership draws on the combined experiences of Stantec and Wanderlands in investment, design and delivery of nature conservation projects that deliver both social and environmental benefits. Projects will include creation, enhancement, and preservation of habitats such as native broadleaf woodland, wildflower meadow and grassland habitats.
Working collaboratively with local communities, educational institutions, businesses, the construction and property development industry and landowners, the partnership will deliver a scientific, educational, and sustainable approach to nature enhancement. This approach includes for a clear vision, mission and addresses regulatory commitments, environmental assessments, ecological planning, and social impact.
