With 30 years of experience in the design and management of civil and infrastructure projects, Doug has worked closely with both public and private clients.
Doug is passionate about maintaining the highest level of client engagement and understands the importance of quality in all aspects of project delivery. He recently managed the award-winning Wall Springs Park Coastal Addition as well as the highly successful replacement of the Fort De Soto Bay Pier in Pinellas County, Florida. The pier replacement was partially funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration necessitating full National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and included a ferry terminal. The structure was designed to withstand the aggressive environment and coastal wave forces while maintaining full Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compliance and sea turtle-friendly lighting.
Outside of work, Doug can be found spending time with his wife and two sons and enjoying the Florida sunshine-swimming, biking, and wakeboarding.
