As a senior mechanical engineer, Cyrus focuses on energy efficiency while leading the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario building performance team. His project range includes energy audits, carbon neutral studies, mechanical investigations, energy and engineering feasibility studies, and measurement and verification.
Cyrus is most known for his technical, hands-on skillset related to feasibility studies, energy audits, preliminary design, and investigations. He enjoys working with operators and building owners to understand each building and develop custom engineering solutions to solve operational problems and improve energy performance. Notably, Cyrus was involved in the Toronto Pearson Airport Terminal 3 enhancement project energy upgrades. He also led the feasibility and measurement and verification portion of the Seneca College Geo-Exchange project.
Outside of work, Cyrus has been involved with the Burlington Sound of Music Festival (BSMF) for 12 of the festival’s 46 years. He’s served on various BSMF committees in a logistics role and on the board of directors for the last three years.
