A leader in the field of environmental management for major projects in Australia, Kevin has over 35 years of experience in the assessment and management of environmental issues across project areas and disciplines. His work consists of minor and major project environmental assessments and approvals, managing environmental incidents, developing restoration and offset strategies, drafting of guidelines and procedures, and delivery of training packages.
With a strong understanding of environmental requirements, Kevin has managed teams in consultancy and government. He’s worked in leadership and senior roles for the WestConnex Delivery Authority, NSW Roads and Maritime Services, the Environmental Protection Authority, National Parks and Wildlife Service, and the Department of Water Resources. Kevin has also led the preparation of referrals for many projects requiring consideration or approval under the NSW Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
When he’s not managing projects, Kevin enjoys the sport of orienteering—aiming to win through navigation rather than speed! He also actively supports the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand as secretary of the NSW Branch and supporting the coordination of the institutes mentoring program.
