In her role as managing counsel across our Asia Pacific region, Josie’s responsibilities include risk management, legal compliance, corporate compliance, and contract management. She’s well-known for appreciating the difference between theoretical risk and real risk and for taking a pragmatic and commercial approach to risk management. With a firm understanding of the business, she balances technical, commercial, and legal risk to help the company grow and be profitable in a sustainable way.
Josie enjoys strategising, problem-solving, and exploring new and challenging issues that assist the business. One way she keeps ahead of the curve is through her governance and management roles on alliance and joint-venture partnerships. She understands that by applying sound governance principles she can contribute to giving the Company its best possible chance of project and corporate success.
When she’s not balancing and mitigating risk, Josie loves outdoor activities such as tramping, mountain biking, road cycling, and skiing. She also enjoys exploring unique and out-of-the-way places while travelling overseas.
