Adam’s professional areas of interest centre around leading environmental rehabilitation and research and development projects, primarily in the mining industry. In particular, he focuses on the integration of traditional on-ground monitoring methods with more recent or emerging methods, such as remote sensing.
Coordinating a team of environmental scientists, and having undertaken over 40 rehabilitation monitoring surveys himself, Adam and his team are responsible for the field, analytical, and reporting components of large and often complex monitoring programs for major mining clients. This work enables clients to meet regulatory requirements and informs the success of rehabilitation and mine closure objectives.
During any free time, Adam enjoys heading down to the local beach and keeping up to date with all things football, both locally and abroad. He also enjoys overseas travel, with recent destinations including Europe and Japan.
