As a graduate environmental scientist, Isabelle undertakes assessments of flora and fauna for proposed developments, aiming to minimise impacts on the environment and help clients meet environmental rules and regulations. She prioritises the environment in all aspects of the design process and uses the opportunity to educate fellow engineers, clients, and communities on the importance of protecting it.
With her interests in threatened species surveys and conservation of endangered species, Isabelle relishes the opportunity to work outside in our diverse environments. A career highlight involved the installation of a new water and sewer pipeline near a regional town in Northeast Victoria. She conducted a preliminary flora and fauna assessment, provided ecological recommendations, and community consultation.
Isabelle’s love of the environment extends into her off hours. You’ll often find her outdoors in all seasons, bushwalking, mountain bike riding, skiing, and surfing.
