Greg has over 35 years’ experience as an inspector on construction sites within Queensland. He has worked across a range of projects for federal, state, and local governments, as well as the private industry. Often on a specific project for long stretches at a time, he acts in a supervisory and audit role—using his comprehensive understanding of the complexities of all of the regulatory requirements and processes to help construction projects meet quality standards.
As a roadworks inspector, Greg works on projects such as the upgrades of the Bruce and Warrego highways where he conducted audits of contractors’ works, construction processes, and quality records to establish compliance. As a qualified structures inspector, he audits and inspects all aspects of bridge construction, steel fabrication, and manufacture of concrete products. Day to day, he provides regular advice to engineers and project managers on contractor performances and keeps community stakeholders in the loop.
When he’s not serving as a civil inspector, Greg likes to spend time with the two great loves of his life—his family and his excellent rebuilt 1978 HZ Holden Premier.
