Sam is passionate about expanding his technical, civil engineering, and managerial skills and knowledge. Proficient in Autodesk, MicroStation, and 12D, he is building a solid base towards the project manager role for major infrastructure projects. He has a proven track record in preparing and delivering engineering designs and documentation for transport projects such as the Hallam Road Upgrade, Bundoora Park and Ride, North-East Link Early Works Package, and the Melbourne Airport Rail Early Works Package.
A natural motivator of people, Sam is also the current, and inaugural, chair of the Victorian branch of the Young Professionals Group and has volunteered extensively for Engineers Australia. He was awarded the prestigious Kernot Medal in his graduating year at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, ranking first out of thousands of engineering graduates in scholarship, leadership, initiative, and engineering outlook.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys cooking using his impressive spice collection, keeping fit, having brunch with friends, and watching his beloved AFL team, the Geelong Cats, play football.
