Stantec partners with KBR to support Australia’s Critical Submarine Rotational Program

Stantec is proud to continue to partner with KBR after the recent contract renewal to deliver technical design services for HMAS Stirling in Perth, Western Australia.

Our partnership supports the sovereign nuclear-powered submarine facilities and infrastructure program enabling the Submarine Rotational Force West (SRF W) project. The project accelerates Australia’s ability to safely own, operate, maintain and sustain its own future nuclear-powered submarine fleet within the AUKUS program.

Stantec’s work alongside KBR, for more than a year now, is vital to the Security and Estate Group (SEG) and the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA).

Preparation now turns to delivering significant project milestones in 2027 and 2030.
