Onshore Wind
Onshore wind projects contributing to reduction of greenhouse emissions
Over the last decade, Australia has experienced rapid growth in the renewable energy sector as the country seeks to achieve net zero greenhouse emissions by 2050. To continue the push to meet this target, we need to develop more renewable infrastructure such as wind farms.
For more than 25 years, we’ve helped deliver over 40,000 megawatts (MW) of wind power across the globe. Since the mid-2000s, a significant portion of energy has been generated from onshore wind projects across a variety of locations throughout Australia. From power and geotechnical engineering to transportation and infrastructure project management, we work with our clients seamlessly in accordance with all industry utility requirements and standards.
More than being specialists on installation engineering and design, we can work at any phase of the project, from feasibility studies and planning analysis to design, permitting, operations, and maintenance.
Transporting wind turbines by road
Wind turbines are massive—and they’re getting bigger. So, how we do haul these enormous blades from a port to the wind farm site? Learn how we provide the best route by road and how we overcome challenges along the way. Read MoreEchoPITCH: Smart wind farm technology saving bats and optimising energy gains
The EchoPITCH smart tool uses acoustic data recorded at wind turbine nacelles to identify temperature and wind speeds in which bats are active. The tool has been designed to better protect bats, and at the same time, increase the overall operational efficiency of the wind farm. Read MoreReady to get your wind farm project underway?
When future planning, understanding the full impact on the environment and community is at the heart of design. How do we deliver that understanding? Our teams use the latest tools, technologies, and best practices to meet regulatory requirements. We can provide technical support and assist you with permitting strategy, application preparation, environmental assessments, and environmental approvals. Let us guide you on a regulatory pathway that supports the energy transition—while protecting our ecosystems and natural habitats. Read MoreOur People
